  1. SN OLM PromptPrefs v1.0

  3. This tiny utility adds the option for users to turn the prompt after they
  4. receive OLMs on or off.
  5.  
  6. Quick & Easy Installation:
  7.  
  8.  1  Place it somewhere.  (PFiles: would be good.)
  9.  
  10.  2  Load up your bbstext(s) and go to line #895.  This is the prompt text.
  11.     If you're using the default bbstext or haven't modified the line, it
  12.     should look like something like this:

  14.     895:  \n1\c7OLM: Again, Reply, Save, ?=help, [Pass]> \q1
  15.  
  16.     Replace it with this line (and nothing else):

  18.     895:  {#0SN:SN_OLMPPrefs}
  19.  
  20.  3  At the bottom of the "3; Main prompt" items in bbsmenu, add the
  21.     following line:

  23.     OLMP  |{#0SN:SN_OLMPPrefs PREFS}
  24.  
  25.     In steps 3 and 4, modify the path to suit and remember,
  26.     \ = CTRL-Y and { = CTRL-Q.
  27.  
  28.  4  Reload your bbstext/bbsmenu via CNet's Control Panel menu (option
  29.     #3, "Text/menu reload  RAmiga-T" and you're all set!
  30.  
  31.  5  Be sure and let everyone know that the option is available.  (Add it
  32.     to your menu.)  Until they manually change it, they'll get the prompt.
  33.     So it acts normal...

  36. help file, blah blah blah plus tax...)
